A mysterious blogger in Baghdad is giving web users a insight into a city under fire.
Under the pen name 'Salem Pax' a 29 year-old Iraqi architect has apparently been writing a weblog of life in the city.
Over the past six months the 'Dear Raed' web log has grown in popularity, but interest has surged since the start of the war.
Its authenticity has been questioned, but just last week Pax wrote: "Please stop sending emails asking if I were for real. Don't believe it? Then don't read it. I am not anybody's propaganda ploy, except my own."
Another entry reads: "We start counting the hours from the moment one of the news channels report that the B52s have left their airfield. It takes them around six hours to get to Iraq."
