MP3 Autorun 3.4

Many audio players come with excess baggage, allowing everything from audio conversion & extraction to multiple format support. As a result, they tend to be bulky programs that can lead to problems on PCs with low-end processors.

MP3 Autorun concentrates on one task and one task only - the playing of MP3s. It's a tiny program that will run comfortably on both high and low-spec machines.

Upon launching MP3 Autorun, it will scan your local drive(s) and load any MP3 files it finds into its playlist window. It will then commence playing these in alphabetical order.

Alternatively, you can choose to play tracks in a random order, and there are options to repeat a track or play a ten-second intro of all tracks.

MP3 files on external sources or networked drives can also be played, using the Explore option, or MP3 Autorun can be launched via Windows Explorer, an extension to the shell interface: right-click on a drive or folder, and MP3s are searched out and played.

A wide selection of keyboard shortcuts are included to allow fast control of the player - alter balance and volume, go to next or previous track, play, stop, pause etc.

If you're playing an album and a cover is available, this will be displayed in MP3 Autorun. A method of creating simple skins is included.
