Writing letters hardly warrants a Workshop, but there are occasions when a
helping hand could make all the difference.
For example, if there is legal or technical jargon involved, or if it’s
important that the formalities of letter writing (using ‘Yours sincerely’ or
‘Yours faithfully’ and so on) are observed correctly.
Microsoft can help here, courtesy of hundreds of letter templates that cover
a wide range of situations – from chasing payments and disputing bills to trying
to get sense out of officialdom or requesting a leave of absence.
You can search for templates from inside Microsoft Word, check them to see if
they’ll work with the version of Word being used and then download them straight
into the word processor, ready for action.
Here’s
how to do it.
