Cisco is investing $9.5m (£4.8m) in mobile
startup SoonR, which is developing enhanced
remote access software that lets roaming workers use a mobile phone to view
files and content stored on a PC.
The software is currently available only in a free beta version, using a
secure sockets layer client installed on the PC to communicate with the SoonR
server that handles requests from the mobile phone.
