Sapphire Radeon X800GTO (AGP)
Sapphire's follow up to the X800 GTO² graphics card
Hard on the heels of our review of
the X800
GTO² PCI Express card,
Sapphire
has released the AGP version, based on the R420 core with its 400MHz engine
clock and 12 pixel pipelines.
The 256MB of GDDR3 memory is clocked at 490MHz DDR (980MHz effective) and
runs through a 256bit interface.
As with all the latest Sapphire cards, this one comes with the Sapphire
Select games bundle: a DVD containing four full games that you can play for an
hour before deciding which, if any, you want to keep.
By using the unlock code on the DVD cover you can activate the game. On
mainstream cards you get the activation code for one game, while the Select
bundle provided with high-end cards allows activation for two games.
