Games developer Bioware, responsible for popular games like Baldurs Gate, is running a writing competition where the first prize is a job with the company.

To win the competition aspiring games developers will have to write a single segment of a game using tools provided on the site. Eight finalists will be picked and the winner will be employed by the company, while the runners up will get games and clothing from the company.

"BioWare asks for writers to create a Neverwinter Nights module to tell their story using the Aurora Toolset," said the company.

"There are a lot of options to consider when creating a module in the Toolset, but it is important to remember that BioWare will only be interested in the writing."

The competition runs until the 30th January.
